If you've spent anytime outdoors, you know how useful carabiners are. We found these specific carabiners to be an excellent addition to our field gear. These are a heavier gauge (diameter of the material the carabiner is made from) than most utility carabiners, and are of an actual "D" shape, which has proven to be far more useful than the cheap common variety out there.
