Scout/Cross Draw Carry
This sheath is designed to be carried horizontally on your belt, either Scout Carry or Cross Draw. Scout Carry is referred to as carrying the sheath at the small of your back, while Cross Draw is carrying the sheath on the front of your belt.
Deluxe Pouch with Tin (Small)
Our Deluxe Scout Sheaths feature a pouch with a metal tin for carrying small survival items. Ideal for carrying fire tinder, fishing kit, snare wire, repair kit, or whatever you choose to carry. Small Tin Dimensions are 2.4"x1.6"x.7".
PRS Collar Retention
PRS stands for Pivoting Retention Strap. This design feature allows you to pivot the retention strap downward once it is unsnapped, so it is out of the way of the knife edge when drawing the knife. Should you manage to cut your retention strap, we will replace it for you. The retention strap and kydex collar are both covered under our Lifetime Guarantee.
Made from Premium Wickett & Craig Saddle Skirting Leather
Each sheath is made from Wickett & Craig's Grade A, 9-10oz, Vegetable Tanned, Saddle Skirting Leather. We chose this leather as it is firm, yet workable, has a rich depth of color, and develops a beautiful patina with character throughout its life.

Ambidextrous Carry
This sheath is designed to be ambidextrous. Simply unscrew the straps and retention collar from the sheath, and flip them over to the opposite side. We just ask which Draw Side in the options above so that your sheath will arrive already setup the way you want.
Vertical Carry Option
Each of our Scout Sheaths has the ability to be converted to Vertical Carry using our Vertical Carry Conversion. The conversion piece mounts to the back of the sheath, and still allows the belt straps and pouch to remain attached to the sheath. This sheath uses Vertical Carry Conversion Size 4.
Pouch Removal Straps
These components allow the option of carrying the sheath without the pouch. These straps are put in place of the Pouch Panel. The belt loop screws will need to be removed in order to swap these components.
Water Resistant Wax Treatment
Each of our sheaths is waxed inside and out with a Beeswax based Leather Conditioner. We apply this Leather Conditioner with heat, which liquefies the wax so it penetrates deep into the leather fibers. Our wax treatment in the interior of the sheath ensures that moisture will not be trapped within the sheath, to avoid the chance of rust forming on your blade.

We only use the best hardware for our sheaths,Black Oxide Steel Chicago Screw Hardware and DOT Scovill Mil-Spec Button Snaps.
MOLLE Compatible
The belt loop spacing of this sheath is compatible with standard MOLLE/PALS webbing. Horizontal Mounting Only.
Firesteel Loop
This allows you to carry a firesteel on your sheath. Available in 3 sizes: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8". These sizes refer to the diameter of the firesteel rod. Firesteel is sold separately.
