This product was conceptualized while out on the trail. Having cordage in our gear was a necessity, but wrapping them in hanks was time consuming and cumbersome. A few prototypes later, we had the perfect solution. About the size of a credit card, these spool cards will hold 30 to 40 feet of Bank Line, Type 1 Paracord, or similar sized cordage.
Available empty (unwrapped), or wrapped with approximately 35 feet of #36 Braided Bank Line from Catahoula Manufacturing.
Size: 3-5/16" x 2-1/8" (About the size of a credit card)

5 The perfect bank line holder

In recent years I've converted from carrying shanks of paracord to using different sizes of bank line. These spool cards are perfect for that purpose and i always have one or two cards of bank line in my pocket.

These spool cards are perfect for managing cordage in your packs, bags, or cargo pockets. These mini cards will each hold approximately 75 feet of #18 bankline if you wrap carefully and neatly 7 times around the card and then a few times end to end to secure the line. The finished product is smaller and slimmer than an Altoids tin and gives me, realistically speaking, almost all the cordage I would ever need whether I was going deliberately into the woods to camp, got stuck out somewhere overnight and ended up inconveniently camping, or even if I were in a survival situation. The #18 bankline is the perfect compromise between size and strength, makes excellent tie-outs and lashings, and the spool card keeps it all in one manageable place.
I bought four of the orange ones and have loaded each up with line and tossed them everywhere I feasibly could to ensure I have cordage whenever and however the need may arise.
The fit and finish of the card was excellent, the orange was a nice bright shade for high visibility if dropped or hidden in the depths of a pack, and there were several places on the card to secure ends. All in all, these things are incredibly handy and convenient, especially for the low price. They were also packaged securely and shipped quickly, which I always appreciate. I will be buying more. -

We are submitting to an elite US Military organization this Mini Spool, which will be loaded with snare wire, heavy fishing line, and monofiliment line, and a sailmaker #14 needle and possibly overwrapped with Paracord. The card fits our container perfectly

5 Compact and practical

I have two of these now, they are a simple, practical, compact, and effective way to carry cordage. I put 100 feet of paracord 90 on both of my Mini Spool Cards. I love them.
