Custom Firesteel handle machined from Delrin, an extremely durable and tough plastic. Each handle is precisely turned on a metal lathe, and fitted with a metal lanyard stud that threads into the handle. This handle features a deep finger groove that gives you alot of grip while still keeping the whole firesteel slim and compact.
The Ferro rods are manufactured in Austria by Treibacher Industrie AG, and are the highest quality ferrocerium rod that we can get our hands on.
The metal lanyard stud allows for multiple ways of retaining the firesteel. The standard option includes the scraper on a piece of #275 Paracord, and is ideal for pocket carry. The second option is the Shock Cord lanyard stud, made for sheath mounted carry.

1- With Scraper on #275 Paracord
2- Shock Cord, for sheath mounted carry (No scraper included)
3- Both. One lanyard stud with Scraper on #275 paracord, and another lanyard stud with Shock Cord

I probably have 9-10 of these. A few are spares. The rest are on fixed blade knives. They have always been my go-to. They’re all I buy.

These are excellent firesteels. The delrin handle is tough and aids in a firm grip, there is plenty of ferrocerium to strike, and the shock cord lanyard and swing swivel stud lanyard hole are nice touches. The ferrorod itself is a medium hardness, which is ideal as it will throw a shower of molten material while not wearing out too fast. They fit LT Wright sheaths with firesteel loops perfectly. I will be buying more.

These handles the perfect match for the sheath. If you're getting a sheath from Sagewood, then add one of these to it. It just matches the sheath so well and functions just as good as it looks.
