QD Cord Swivel

The QD Cord Swivels allows for the free range of motion with your sling similiar to a paracord sling attachment but still maintaining the benefits of utilizing QD sockets. No binding or rattling metal sling loops.

The QD Cord Swivel has a G10 Composite body, that is pinned to a Grovtec QD Swivel (regarded as the industry standard for QD swivels), and holds a loop of 1/8" Kevlar Cord, which has a tempature rating of 900*F. The cord is also user replacable, should you ever need to replace it, or install a longer or shorter cord for a particular application.

We also include shims for your QD swivels. QD sockets can vary in tolerance depending on the manufacturer. Some may need it, some may not. If your QD Swivel has play in the QD Socket, you can add 1-2 shims over the shank of the QD swivel to take up the extra space. This will also help to quiet the QD swivel. The ball detents of the QD swivel retain this shim so you wont lose them. When installing, check the fit of the QD swivel with the QD socket. Ensure that the button plunger is fully retracted after the QD swivel is seated. If the plunger is still compressed, it means the shim(s) are too thick. This will result in the QD swivel popping out under tension. Remove a shim until this plunger is fully retracted, and swivels smoothly.
