The MOLLE Quick Clip was originally developed for MOLLE pouch-based Personal Survival Kits(PSK), so that the user could quickly attach the pouch to their belt before heading out into the backcountry. We soon found that this clip came in handy for many other MOLLE pouches, such as Medical Kits, Utility Pouches, Canteen Carriers, and Magazine Pouches. The kydex backing clip is made from .125" thick kydex.
The MOLLE Quick Clip comes in two versions, the 2 Slot and 3 Slot:
2 Slot: Designed for pouches that have no space between the horizontal rows of webbing, which is common on newer style MOLLE Pouches.
3 Slot: Designed for pouches that have a space between the horizontal rows of webbing, which is common on older style MOLLE Pouches.
The 3 Slot version will work on both old and new MOLLE pouches, but the 2 Slot version will only work on the new style MOLLE pouches. Between the two adapters, the 2 Slot version is preferred, if it will fit the particular pouch. It is a more secure fit, and as it only takes up 2 rows of webbing you can adjust the ride height of the adapter on the webbing on the rear of the pouch.
This adapter fits over the stitching on the MOLLE pouches webbing. If your pouch does not have a stitch running down the center of the webbing on the rear of the pouch, this adapter will not be centered on the pouch. If you are using a wide pouch, you will need to use two adapters for a proper fit. Laser Cut MOLLE webbing may have fitting issues with these adapters, if you are unsure if your pouch will work with this adapter, please email us a picture of the webbing on your pouch and we will let you know whether it will fit.
