Product Overview

This adapter bolts to the back of your Pancake style kydex sheath, and allows you to carry your sheath with multiple belt attachment options. All the necessary mounting hardware is included. Available in 5 sizes, which cover a wide array of sheath sizes.

NEW Option: Biothane Standard Belt Loop (Black only). Biothane is a rubberized webbing that is durable, waterproof, and easy to clean. It is commonly used for dog leashes/collars, Equestrian gear, and other outdoor products.

Adapter Sizing

To find the correct adapter for your sheath, locate the eyelets on your sheath in which you want to attach the adapter, and measure the distance from Center to Center of the eyelets (see image above). This measurement is for the 2 slotted mounting holes on the bottom of the kydex adapter.

Extra Small Adapter - 1.43" to 1.9" (36mm to 48mm)
Small Adapter - 1.75" to 2.25" (45mm to 57mm)
Medium Adapter - 2.06" to 2.56" (52mm to 65mm)
Large Adapter - 2.31" to 2.81" (58mm to 71mm)
Extra Large Adapter - 2.62" to 3.10" (66mm to 78mm)

    This belt loop works great on my Winkler belt knife! Wish it had more adjustment holes.

    Works perfectly for my Essee 5. Much more comfortable to carry than using the clip it comes with. Very high quality, worth every penny. I'll definitely be back whenever I buy a new fixed blade.

    Overall quality of company and product

    My review is simple, my experience with the company could not have possibly been better. That stated there were no issues for them to correct so I had a perfectly positive experience from start to finish. As for the quality of the product I received, I feel the product is of superb quality, fit and finish as well as function. Beautiful product, seems to reflect outstanding workmanship and I highly recommend this company. I will definitely be purchasing more products from them in the future.

    Awesome, exactly what I was hoping for. High quality materials and finish. The black leather looks and works great with the black molded Esee sheath. . Only thing I did was to replace 1/2 “ long screws with 5/8” for more thread engagement when using the rubber spacers. Not really necessary but there was room for more thread engagement, so I wanted to take advantage of it. Overall great product, fair price and delivery was quick. I’ll will be ordering more items for sure! Semper Fi

    I had been looking online for a dangler attachment for my Esee 4 for a while, and came across Sagewood's adapter. I wasn't sure how well built this thing was going to be, but thought to myself, I've spent $30 on worse things. But when I recieved it, all my worries were gone. This dangler is a beautifully made piece of American craftsmanship. The leather is thick, the snaps are stout and hold tight, and it is very easy to put it together and get to using it. It hangs my Esee at just the right height, with the butt of the tang hanging just below my waist, and just like a dangler should it swings out of the way when sitting and squatting and moves with me when I walk. One last thing I liked when I read up on Sagewood, was the warranty. I don't doubt for a second that they will stand behind their product, because when something is built this well, there isn't much to go wrong, and I seriously doubt I will ever wear it out in my lifetime. Thanks for making a great product!
