This adapter bolts to the back of your Pancake style kydex sheath, and allows you to carry your sheath with multiple belt attachment options. All the necessary mounting hardware is included. Available in 5 sizes, which cover a wide array of sheath sizes.

Adapter Sizing

To find the correct adapter for your sheath, locate the eyelets on your sheath in which you want to attach the adapter, and measure the distance from Center to Center of the eyelets (see image above). This measurement is for the 2 slotted mounting holes on the bottom of the kydex adapter.

Extra Small Adapter - 1.43" to 1.9" (36mm to 48mm)

Small Adapter - 1.75" to 2.25" (45mm to 57mm)

Medium Adapter - 2.06" to 2.56" (52mm to 65mm)

Large Adapter - 2.31" to 2.81" (58mm to 71mm)

Extra Large Adapter - 2.62" to 3.10" (66mm to 78mm)

Love it. It was exactly what I was looking to replace the clip that came with the LS. Absolutely hated that thing. This puts the knife right here I want/need it. Like it enough to order one for my 4HM ESEE. It shipped today.

I ordered the large, brown leather dangler loop for my Esee Junglas and WOW! It changes the game for me as I can now swing the sheath freely to accommodate my situation and the double snap belt strap goes on and off my belt like second nature. I transferred the dangle loop to my new Becker BK-2 this week and again it performs great, so I ordered another.

Sagewood’s dangler system is an absolute must have. The only thing I didn’t like about the ESEE was how high it rode. This is THE FIX. I absolutely love this. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Large dangler

It's great quality as usual, but they used a rivot on one part, which used to be a screw. Minor detail but I like to change the D ring out and I'll have to drill that out to do so.

I bought one of these dangler adapters for my Esse 5 because I don't like the rigid clip that comes with it and after trying it out, I bought 4 more. Good quality leather with solid kydex and a great fit, can't beat it. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.
