This adapter bolts to the back of your Pancake style kydex sheath, and allows you to carry your sheath with multiple belt attachment options. All the necessary mounting hardware is included. Available in 5 sizes, which cover a wide array of sheath sizes.

Adapter Sizing

To find the correct adapter for your sheath, locate the eyelets on your sheath in which you want to attach the adapter, and measure the distance from Center to Center of the eyelets (see image above). This measurement is for the 2 slotted mounting holes on the bottom of the kydex adapter.

Extra Small Adapter - 1.43" to 1.9" (36mm to 48mm)

Small Adapter - 1.75" to 2.25" (45mm to 57mm)

Medium Adapter - 2.06" to 2.56" (52mm to 65mm)

Large Adapter - 2.31" to 2.81" (58mm to 71mm)

Extra Large Adapter - 2.62" to 3.10" (66mm to 78mm)

Belt loop sheath adapter

The quality of all their products are outstanding! I bought this adapter to attach to my benchmade adamas , not only does it look great it functions perfectly.

Large dangler

It's great quality as usual, but they used a rivot on one part, which used to be a screw. Minor detail but I like to change the D ring out and I'll have to drill that out to do so.

I bought one of these dangler adapters for my Esse 5 because I don't like the rigid clip that comes with it and after trying it out, I bought 4 more. Good quality leather with solid kydex and a great fit, can't beat it. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Easy to put on and fits perfectly. It literally pushed the knife forward for ease of grabbing and using! I would highly recommend this product!

These are tough, well made pieces. The sizing guide is accurate. I have two of these so far and I believe they’ll go on every sheath I have in the future.

Belt Loop Sheath Adapter

I bought two of these, one in black and one in brown, to fit to two of The Knife Connection's ESEE PR4 kydex sheaths, which have the same eyelet footprint as the factory kydex on the standard ESEE 3 and 4. These adapters fit perfectly. The leather is thick and supple, the hardware is top quality, everything about these adapters is the ultimate union of form and function. Some color transfer from the snap and the leather of the adapter will happen on lighter G10 handle scales (blaze orange, in my case), but that's a very minor issue for me. Overall, I'm very happy with this product. I'd love to see a version in natural or saddle tan colored leather with brass hardware (hint, hint, Sagewood).

The only one that works with Benchmade 375-1 FIXED ADAMAS Family

Sagewood Gear saved the day again for me. This belt loop sheath adapter fits perfectly with my Benchmade 375-1 FIXED ADAMAS knives. I could find no other sheath adapter that does. Quality at a good price. Buy with confidence

The dangler adapter four my GSO 5.0 perfectly. Have been looking for one that I didn't have to break my piggy bank and this was just what I wanted! Thick quality leather, snaps and hardware. Very satisfied.

Belt loop sheath adapter

Quality work at a great price! I purchased 2 of the combo kits and ended up using the belt loop adapter with the dangler to get it a bit lower down so I can use when backpacking etc. This required the addition of a hole and fastener to the belt loop (imitated the snap beltloop section) to keep the belt loop from rubbing on the knife scales. These are being used on RAT 7 kydex and an ESEE 6 sheaths. Very comfortable when walking and sitting and this configuration puts my hand right on the handle when I reach down. Would defiantly recommend.
