Belt Loop Sheath Adapter

Product Overview

This adapter bolts to the back of your Pancake style kydex sheath, and allows you to carry your sheath with multiple belt attachment options. All the necessary mounting hardware is included. Available in 5 sizes, which cover a wide array of sheath sizes.

NOTE: When selecting "Both Belt Loops", you will receive ONE kydex adapter, with a Standard Belt Loop, and Dangler Belt Loop.

Adapter Sizing

To find the correct adapter for your sheath, locate the eyelets on your sheath in which you want to attach the adapter, and measure the distance from Center to Center of the eyelets (see image above). This measurement is for the 2 slotted mounting holes on the bottom of the kydex adapter.

Extra Small Adapter - 1.43" to 1.9" (36mm to 48mm)
Small Adapter - 1.75" to 2.25" (45mm to 57mm)
Medium Adapter - 2.06" to 2.56" (52mm to 65mm)
Large Adapter - 2.31" to 2.81" (58mm to 71mm)
Extra Large Adapter - 2.62" to 3.10" (66mm to 78mm)
 

Threadlocker is recommended for the hardware. You can purchase some here - Loctite 242 (Blue) Threadlocker

    Awesome, exactly what I was hoping for. High quality materials and finish. The black leather looks and works great with the black molded Esee sheath. . Only thing I did was to replace 1/2 “ long screws with 5/8” for more thread engagement when using the rubber spacers. Not really necessary but there was room for more thread engagement, so I wanted to take advantage of it. Overall great product, fair price and delivery was quick. I’ll will be ordering more items for sure!

    Belt Loop Sheath Adapter

    I had been looking online for a dangler attachment for my Esee 4 for a while, and came across Sagewood's adapter. I wasn't sure how well built this thing was going to be, but thought to myself, I've spent $30 on worse things. But when I recieved it, all my worries were gone. This dangler is a beautifully made piece of American craftsmanship. The leather is thick, the snaps are stout and hold tight, and it is very easy to put it together and get to using it. It hangs my Esee at just the right height, with the butt of the tang hanging just below my waist, and just like a dangler should it swings out of the way when sitting and squatting and moves with me when I walk. One last thing I liked when I read up on Sagewood, was the warranty. I don't doubt for a second that they will stand behind their product, because when something is built this well, there isn't much to go wrong, and I seriously doubt I will ever wear it out in my lifetime. Thanks for making a great product!

    Most knife sheaths don't have great belt attachments. SG bridges that gap and transforms what typically are good knife sheaths by themselves to a whole new level with the belt adapters. I probably have 5 or 6 of which includes the taco style adapter. The leather, fit and finish is first rate. I've ordered similar items from other folks and, while they might have a good design, the craft and execution is lacking.

    This is an outstanding product. Well designed, durable, and fit to task. This brings new life to knives with sheathes that are just not comfortable for the woods or camp life. It makes all the difference and I cannot recommend it high enough.

    Simple design and quality product. My sheath knife with the dangler attached now is at the correct distance for a comfortable carry. Would recommend and will buy from this company again.

    Best quality for the price. Fit perfect on my bark river sheath
