Product Overview

This adapter bolts to the back of your Pancake style kydex sheath, and allows you to carry your sheath with multiple belt attachment options. All the necessary mounting hardware is included. Available in 5 sizes, which cover a wide array of sheath sizes.

NOTE: When selecting "Both Belt Loops", you will receive ONE kydex adapter, with a Standard Belt Loop, and Dangler Belt Loop.

Adapter Sizing

To find the correct adapter for your sheath, locate the eyelets on your sheath in which you want to attach the adapter, and measure the distance from Center to Center of the eyelets (see image above). This measurement is for the 2 slotted mounting holes on the bottom of the kydex adapter.

Extra Small Adapter - 1.43" to 1.9" (36mm to 48mm)

Small Adapter - 1.75" to 2.25" (45mm to 57mm)

Medium Adapter - 2.06" to 2.56" (52mm to 65mm)

Large Adapter - 2.31" to 2.81" (58mm to 71mm)

Extra Large Adapter - 2.62" to 3.10" (66mm to 78mm)

Threadlocker is recommended for the hardware. You can purchase some here - Loctite 242 (Blue) Threadlocker

High quality belt loop shaeth adapter.

I was searching for a "dangler" adapter for my Benchmade Arvensis and discovered you products during a Google search. At the time I was planning to make an adapter because the cost and quality of the on-line offerings that I saw was not much better than the products I fashion. Your website and photographs indicated that the Sagewood adapter was a well made piece of kit and the price was very reasonable. I placed my order and a few days an excellent dangler showed up in my mail box. The adapter fit the Arvensis sheath perfectly and has made carrying the knife a pleasure. They are perfect for my needs, I use them on all my kydex. Do not like the high ride clips. Quality is there.

This gear is very well made, the leather is top notch and the screws and D ring are all quality. I put it on my ESEE- 4 and it fit perfectly with no issues. Great piece of gear and looks very nice. Shipping was fast

Sheath adapter

Got the universal to fit my ESEE Junglas 1 which came with a sheath but no attaching mechanism. Materials seem to be high quality, have not tested in field yet but I am confident it will hold up for several years at least, which is fair for the price point. Leather is very nice looking.
